Take a look at our Constitution

The mission of SCF is stated as “To improve the quality of life for people in Sharrow"

As a limited company and a registered charity, we are governed by a Board of Trustees who have revisited the aims and objectives of the organisation recently. As a result the organisation is focussed on a role as an umbrella organisation for the area of Sharrow, providing a strategic framework for the service delivery of its member organisations and communities.

The forum was founded in 1997 by a group of local people involved in community development issues. In the intervening years the forum’s overall objectives have changed little but the priorities have changed with the times.

The agreed aims are as follows:

1.      Attract and maintain resources into the area

2.      Foster a vibrant and active community

3.      Improve community use of the natural and built environment

4.      Improve local use of public services

5.      Improve our sustainability

Please use the link below to see our Aims and Objectives Document for a full list of the objectives.

We are currently funded by Objective 1 and Yorkshire Forward, through the South Sheffield Partnership.
