Highfield Adventure Playground

Highfield Adventure Playground, Crowther Place, Sheffield S7 1BJ is a popular play space adjacent to the Park

The adventure playground is an outdoor and indoor play space for children open from 1pm until 5pm Tuesday to Saturday. We support children to freely choose, play and encourage them to take challenges. The playground is aimed at ages 0-14 years old and over 8-year-olds can play in the playground without parental supervision (on arrival we kindly ask new users to please complete a registration form per child). Children under 8 must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

We also have a range of exciting projects that happen in our community space outside of playground hours such as dance classes, theatre workshops, extreme sports workshops, youth club, focus groups and much more (please see our social media pages to keep updated). During school holidays and half-term was have lots of thrilling free family activities available and a daily hot meal for the community.

Children and young people love the playground because of its interesting and exciting spaces and play equipment, including sand play, tunnel slide, maypole swing and water pump. It is also popular with parents who see it as a safe place, staffed by skilled amazing play workers and volunteers who are dedicated, with toilet facilities. Staff provide a range of activities for children of all ages including crafts, multi-sports, cooking and fun games. - Monday to Thursday after 5.30pm

- Saturday morning from 10am until 12pm

- Sunday available for hire all day.
